What can you expect if you try the carnivore diet?  After menopause, I discovered that I was becoming even more sensitive to the glucose in my diet.  Although I had already eliminated sugar, grains, and vegetable oils from my eating plan, I was beginning to struggle with weight creep, joint pain, and low motivation.

In February of 2019, I switched to a meat based diet to get ready to sing at Carnegie Hall.  The results were wonderful.  I felt like I had regained the voice I had as a teenager.  When I returned from New York, I went back on my old eating plan including a lot of leafy greens, other above ground vegetables and low sugar fruits.  I was playing a pregnant character in a play, and I felt comfortable gaining some weight.

Going carnivore after that allowed me to lose the weight I had gained quite easily.

How to Make Chuck Eye Steak 2 chuck eye steaks, salt, pepper, 2 Tablespoons butter. Pat steaks dry, season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Remove from fridge and and wait 30 minutes to allow steaks to return to room temperature. Heat 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings, butter, or your preferred fat in an oven safe skillet. Sear steaks for 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a 450 degree oven. Cook for 5 more minutes for medium rare. Remove and transfer steaks to a wire rack placed over a baking sheet. Melt 2 T. butter in the pan and baste the steaks for 2 minutes with melted butter. All ow to rest 3 minutes more and serve.
